What to expect during recruit training

Family members of new recruits often have a lot of questions when their loved one goes to basic training, and may feel anxious because they don’t know what to expect, and they may not be able to communicate with their new recruit as often as they would like.

The goals of this virtual workshop are to:

1. Answer the most common questions that family members have about Basic Training and its impact on the recruited and their families.
2. Connect families of new recruits with each other,
3. Provide reassurance that they are not alone.
4. Introduce families of new recruits to their local MFRC and its programs and services.
