[VIRTUAL]: True Patriot Love Speaker Series: Canadian Sniper Jody Mitic

The primary purpose of OPERATION: Building Bridges is to connect military, veterans, and community health care providers and learn how leadership and perseverance can positively affect mental health throughout the military community. Because many health care providers and clinicians may see a veteran or family member on an unrelated issue, a secondary goal is to help these professionals develop a better understanding of the culture in which veterans and their families live and work, as well as provide best practices for identifying, assessing and treating mental health disorders that may result from their military service.
This speaker series is a multi- session virtual program that features three presenters. The final speaker of the series is Jody Mitic, a retired military sniper, author, a motivational speaker and an advocate for wounded veterans and people with disabilities.
