A Hobby for Everyone
Young and old, able-bodied and paraplegics, blind and sighted…an amateur radio hobby has something for everyone. It’s easy to get started and inexpensive to pursue.
In cooperation with 1 Squadron, 36 Sig Regt (f.k.a. 721 Communication Regt), local amateur radio operators will be on hand on Saturday, February 11 at the Brighton Compound, Brighton Road, Charlottetown, to provide demonstrations of radio communications and equipment, including worldwide (shortwave, HF), local (VHF), and even satellite contacts (orbits permitting). They will be on hand to answer questions and introduce visitors to this wonderful and rewarding hobby. Please stay tuned for the start time, registration process, and additional information.
