Christine Gordon Manley
A freelance editor, an exercise enthusiast, a creative writer, lover of quality chocolate & Malbec wine, an amateur cook, military spouse & mother of two. Co-owner of a writing – editing business, Manley Mann Media. Christine has had no choice but to learn balance in her life(or at least fake it to maintain sanity). Christine lives in PEI and works with clients all over the world. Her first children’s book will be published this fall.
Kendra Mellish
A retired Captain with 27 years of service, a mother, sister, widow and OSSIS Peer Support Coordinator for PEI. Kendra has first- hand knowledge of the military lifestyle as she has experienced her own deployment. She is highly driven to advocate for peer support
within our community and she has been successful in bringing Veterans and families together. After the loss of her husband, she has overcome many challenges that have made her a very strong, independent and honorable woman within our PEI community.
Heather Witherden
Heather is known as Winnipeg’s favourite wisecracking mom; facing challenges with humour is her forte! She’s played the role of ‘receptionist’ at the Winnipeg Military Family Resource Centre for 6 years and has been part of the local comedy community for ten. Always evolving, she’s looking forward to her film debut as an asylum patient in ‘Cult of Chucky’, on the big screens in 2018!
