The METSpouse Program is an employer network, administered by Canada Company and Military Family Services, where partnering employers are aware of the inherent employability of military spouses and explore accommodation for this mobile workforce. The program serves as a bridge between military spouses and Canada Company’s “Spouse Military Friendly Employer Partners.”
The Military Employment Transition Spouse (METSpouse) program connects Canadian military spouses with a network of military spouse friendly employers across the country. Founded as a pilot program in 2016, METSpouse launched nationally and is now available in all military communities to the spouses of Active, Reserve, and Retired members of the Canadian Armed Forces.
METSpouse is administered by Canada Company in partnership with Military Family Services and Military Family Resource Centres. Leveraging the success of Canada Company’s innovative Military Employment Transition (MET) program, METSpouse offers solutions to the issue of underemployment to over 60, 000 military spouses across Canada.
