Michael: A Reservist for 13 years, Michael works at DVA Hannah is a professional musician and teacher/educator
Leah: A Reservist for 5 years, Leah works as an elementary school teacher
Lily: The couple’s 4-year-old boxer-shephard mix
What does being a Reservist mean to you and your family?
It means supporting our community and country.
How many days/month do you work as a Reservist?
Approximately 8-10 days/month
Tell us about a few challenges about being a military family that you are experiencing or have experienced in the past.
Mostly, being away from each other and also being away from family/friends.

A few include: supporting our community and country, making life-long friends across the country, and living in different places.
